AURORA BASECAMP
Our Aurora Basecamp is a place where you can spend your night and sleep under The Northern Lights. Experience Aurora Borealis in Northern Norway outside Tromsø.
We have premises for a meeting as well as a cozy evening for a couple. With us, you stay at a little camp in our home garden surrounded by mountain views.

Location
Our Aurora Basecamp is located in Storfjord municipality, at Hatteng village.
From the base camp there is a view of beautiful mountains but also access to them as well. The snowmobile track starts right from here.

- Meeting room upstairs of our old barn with 75” screen and seats for 22 persons
AuroraHut
AuroraHut is a green accommodation option that leaves the surrounding nature untouched both during and after your stay.
This cozy AuroraHut gives you a spectacular view to the arctic sky and to the nature around you with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

The perfect place to escape and relax. The warmth of the sauna is just what you need after an exciting day in the Arctic. Or relax in the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view over the fields.

The Lavvu
The Lavvu is a temporary dwelling used by the Sámi – the indigenous peoples of northern Scandinavia.
This structure enabled the indigenous cultures of the treeless plains of northern Scandinavia and the High Arctic of Eurasia to live in harmony with nature.
Sami Elders have learned this ancient craft to younger generations and The Lavvu is still in use today as a temporary shelter by the Sami reindeer herders of the Northern Hemisphere.
